NCRI - A majority of Italian lawmakers have announce their support for the goals of the Iranian Resistance and the 10 point plan of Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi for a future free Iran. More than 300 members of the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italy's Parliament, have signed a statement calling on the Italian government, European Union member states, the United States and the United Nations Security Council to "strongly condemn" executions and other flagrant human rights abuses by the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI or MEK) who are currently in Camp Liberty in Iraq. The Italian lawmakers further called for the expulsion of the Iranian regime's Revolutionary Guards and other mercenaries from the countries in the region, in particular Syria and Iraq. The text warned that the Iranian regime's meddling in Syria has reached an "unprecedented level" and that its forces are continuously massacring the Syrian people. "The actions of the Iranian regime in the region have given the greatest assistance and paved the way for the rise of ISIS (Daesh, Islamic State, ISIL)," it added.
